The Nepal Architecture Archive is a safe home for over 80,000 materials and objects produced during the second half of the twentieth century by international architects, anthropologists, artists, photographers, researchers, and individuals. While the architectural heritage of Nepal remains our primary focus, our collection traverses a broader social, cultural, and geographical context. They reflect the changing dynamics of contemporary Nepal and capture the country’s recent history.

Our collection is growing every year, and we continue to keep their primary records. Our next big step is making them accessible to a wider community for research and knowledge sharing. Your support is pivotal in this endeavor. We are currently seeking funds to digitize our significant collections and effectively run our database.

Your support, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated. It can help us activate our archive and expand the scope of our collections, ensuring the preservation and accessibility of Nepal’s architectural and cultural heritage for generations to come.
